Solutions that eventually come from inspiration.Inspiration (in-spirit) are images that already have been recognized/seen/observed by your own spirit from within.Visualizing comes from your own mind, your creativity, which eventually will lead to (if you allow it) creating.Creating is the translation/giving birth from your own mind (a world of your own) towards earth/reality. A blessing from within.My name is Shaney Roque da Silva, and I am a passionate footwear designer with a deep love for creating unique, innovative, and stylish shoes. Enda is for those in relentless pursuit of greatness.HARAMBEE SPIRITEnda was founded with a mission to bring Kenyan athletic greatness to runners everywhere and to fuel economic development in Kenya.As an addition to Enda's new and growing performance footwear lineup I designed a running shoe concept. This project envisions what an Enda running shoe could be with my vision, following the established design language and signals of Enda released footwear silhouettes.About the concept:I wanted to create running shoes not just for performance, but also for everyday wear. When I think about a casual shoe my mind immediately went to the classic derby shoe. So, I thought what happens if I transform a derby shoe into a running shoe. Make it derby but sporty.This was a personal project aimed at refining my 3D modeling and rendering abilities, primarily utilizing Blender. This project was not commissioned by Enda.

About the concept:
FOGO During my trip to my fatherland for the first time, I visited 3 islands. Fogo was one of those. Fogo is an island well-known for its active volcano with its moon-like surroundings. It is a perfect place to hike. The island is currently 25km in diameter and 2,829m in height; from the sea floor the volcano is over 6,000m in height. Nowhere on the island can you forget what this is, layers upon layers of eruption still shaping the landscape today. I was moved by its beautiful landscape and got inspired. Therefore, I wanted to create hiking shoes, to represent Fogo not just for performance, but also for everyday wear.This was a personal project aimed at refining my 3D modeling and rendering abilities, primarily utilizing Blender.

During my first year at DHTA I was assigned to make a pump. For this assignment I wanted it to be elegant. So, in order to get inspired I had to channel to my inner feminine energy. Therefore, I listened to my playlist called "Jazz elegant women" featuring a variety of female artist such as Helen Folessade Adu (Sade), Alicia Keys, Lindsey Webster and Diana Krall. Helen Folessade Adu is one of my favorite artists, so I decided to use her as my muse for this project.The heel was a doorknob from its origin and is made of beech wood material. I found it while gathering some supplies at the hardware store and knew this was going to be the highlight of the pump.
